Projects

• Drawbar Performance Analysis of Different Tractor Tyres using Machine Learning (ongoing project):
  • Developed the instrumental setup for acquiring data of drawbar pull, forward speed, Soil compaction, Torque acting on wheel axle, Cone Index value of soil, and sinkage of the tyre into the soil.
  • Conducted traction potential evaluation of Yokohama, Apollo, and CEAT tyres on different soil conditions.
  • Developed an ANN model for predicting contact area and ground pressure of bias-ply tyres on a firm surface.
  • Created a Tkinter user interface for deploying the developed ANN model to predict contact area and ground pressure.
  • Designed a streamlit web application for estimating soil compaction beneath agricultural tyre.
• Design and Development of a Solar Energy Operated Paddy Thresher with a Winnower | M.Tech Thesis:
  • Designed a wire-loop paddy thresher along with a winnower to perform threshing and winnowing operations.
  • Estimated the maximum power requirement for threshing and winnowing of paddy.
  • Selected a solar photovoltaic system and a battery to supply power for the thresher and winnower.
  • Designed a charge controller to automatically control the charging of the battery.
  • Evaluated the performance of the developed solar operated thresher and winnower.

  • Collaborated with Prof. Hifjur Raheman to propose and develop the course curriculum for NPTEL.
